I was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and lived there until heading off to college at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. I studied abroad my senior year of college and upon returning to Minnesota I decided that the I needed a change of pace. I had become used to a new surprise every day while being abroad. My good friend, Mandy, was applying to graduate schools in Boston, DC, and NYC. I asked her if she minded having a roommate wherever she ended up, and NYU was what she chose.

I am on Facebook - but only because my daughter set up my account, did all the work, and just emailed me my password.
It is more fun to learn to do something like this without too much handholding by the kiddos!
Facebook is fun, too. Maybe after you try this out, you'll want to do that, too!
